An ultrasonic shears device combining cutting, coagulation, grasping, and dissection in a single instrument for laparoscopic procedures. Adaptive Tissue Technology adjusts energy delivery in real time based on tissue conditions, reducing thermal spread compared to earlier Harmonic devices while giving an audible tone cue when energy is being regulated. Suited to general, plastic, gynecologic, and urologic procedures where bleeding control and minimal thermal injury to surrounding tissue matter.
