A compact open-procedure sealer/divider designed for confined surgical spaces where visibility and access are limited — commonly used in thyroid and parathyroid surgery. It combines hand or foot activation with an integrated cutting mechanism, keeping the cutting decision with the surgeon rather than automating it. Thermal spread is confined to an average of 2mm or less from the seal site, which matters when working near sensitive structures like nerves during neck surgery. Reduces the need for instrument exchanges compared to mechanical ligation methods.
